Vance's began as a general store in 1938 and evolved into a full-time Sporting Goods store in 1978. The family business experienced steady growth with mergers and expansions, including a shooting range and online services. In 2021, the Vance family transferred company stock to employees through an ESOP, emphasizing our commitment to customer satisfaction. Richard H. Vance's belief that customers are the real bosses continues to drive our mission.
