The Division of Water Reclamation is governed by the City of Toledo in Ohio. It offers a range of debris removal services that prevents clogging and protects pumping equipment. The department specializes in the removal of sand, gravel and heavy solids for landfill disposal. It uses oil and grease skimming tanks for the collection and transfer of floatables. The Division of Water Reclamation is involved in the mixing of air with wastewater to promote growth of aerobic microorganisms that help in breaking down the organic matter.
