Established in 1990, James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute offers a wide range of cancer diagnoses, treatment, rehabilitation and research services. Located in Columbus, Ohio, the more than 170-bed hospital comprises bone marrow transplantation unit, specialized surgical suites, a clinical laboratory, private chemotherapy suites, pharmacy dedicated to chemotherapy, and a perianesthesia unit for pre- and post-operative care of inpatients and outpatients. It offers several testing services, including advanced laparoscopic procedures, anatomic imaging services bone marrow examination, diagnostic cytology and interventional radiology services. Additionally, treatments offered by the hospital include conformal radiation therapy, radiation therapy oncology program, robotic gynecologic surgery and stem cell transplantation. It also offers support groups and services, including brain tumor support group, massage therapy services, leukemia and lymphoma society support group and healing through art support group for cancer patients.
