I'm a dermatologist at The Ohio State University specializing in General Dermatology. My main areas of interest include acne, eczema, psoriasis, moles and skin cancers. It is a true privilege to care for adult and pediatric patients and address their dermatologic concerns. Every day brings new challenges, interesting disease presentations and opportunities to help my patients. I've been a Buckeye since 1998 when I arrived to complete an Internal Medicine residency followed by a Dermatology residency. I joined the faculty in 2007, and I love everything about The Ohio State University. I'm so thankful to work with incredible faculty and staff at a wonderfully vibrant and innovative medical center. I'm blessed to teach medical students and residents, and honored to be training the next generation of aspiring dermatologists as an associate professor of Internal Medicine. I'm an advocate for women faculty at the Ohio State College of Medicine, where I am the co-chair for the Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) Advocacy Committee, which focuses on promoting gender equity and improving women faculty advancement and career development. I also serve on the Ohio State College of Medicine's Admissions Committee and on the Editorial Committee of the national Women's Dermatologic Society. In addition to my clinical work and teaching responsibilities, I am active in community engagement with community outreach in skin cancer awareness and free skin cancer screening orn and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, I have called Ohio my home for the last 20 years. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids and cheering on the Buckeyes in every sport.
