Stark State College of Technology is a two-year state college, offering associate degrees and professional development programs to residents of Stark County, Ohio. It has an enrollment of more than 7,500 credit students, and offers various associate degree programs and one-year certificate programs approved by the Ohio Board of Regents. The college also provides noncredit programs in continuing education and contract training activities. Stark State College offers classes in business technology, engineering, health, information technology, public service and general studies. The college also offers associate of arts, associate of applied business and associate of science degrees in conjunction with Kent State University. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Founded in 1960, Stark State College of Technology is located in North Canton, Ohio.
