SPCA Cincinnati is an animal shelter and humane society that strives to strengthen the human-animal bond and improve the welfare of animals by fostering humane care and treatment solutions for animals. It serves animals in Cincinnati and Hamilton County in Ohio. The society serves more than 18,000 animals annually. SPCA Cincinnati administers the CAAP program, as well as conducts classes in schools, scout groups, assisted living communities and nursing homes. It is responsible for investigating animal cruelty cases and for securing necessary additional action from enforcement, inspection and legal departments. The society provides services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
