The South Euclid - Lyndhurst Historical Society, established in 1966, is dedicated to connecting communities, people, and ideas through history in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area. With a museum established in 1977, the society offers history talks, lectures, and educational programs on various historic topics, while also preserving the legacy of American Porcelain Art through the Museum of American Porcelain Art (MAPA), which is set to open in Summer 2018.
MAPA, located in the transformed Telling Mansion, houses the most extensive collection of American porcelains, archives of significant achievements, and a reference library of porcelain that is unparalleled in the world. The society also offers opportunities for individuals to support their mission by ordering signature bricks for their patio or joining the Century Home List to receive a plaque for homes built 100 or more years ago.
