Founded in 1950, Shore Junior High School is a public, coeducational school that serves more than 850 students in grades seven through nine and is operated by Mentor Public Schools. The school is located in Mentor, Ohio and offers a wide variety of extracurricular and academic programs. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign languages, and physical and health educating. The junior high school provides various athletic activities, such as cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, wrestling, hockey and track. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs, including foreign language and garden clubs, the National Honor Society and Student council. Additionally, the junior high school provides various facilities, including a cafeteria, library, laboratories, playing fields and lockers.
