Robert K. Hutchins, M.D. is a retina and vitreous surgeon who has been practicing in the Cincinnati and Southeast Indiana region since 1987. Dr. Hutchins teaches retinal surgery to resident physicians and vitreo-retinal surgical fellows at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he is a member of the full-time faculty as an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and runs the Retina Service. Dr. Hutchins’ expertise covers the entire spectrum of vitreo-retinal conditions some of which include complex retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular hole, macular pucker, macular degeneration, ocular histoplasmosis, retinal vascular disease, and posterior segment trauma.
