Emmert Studebaker founded Process Equipment in 1946. The company s original mission was to design and build special machines for the American Industry. It has grown to five plant locations, housing four business units and utilizing more than 385,000 square feet of floor space. Process Equipment s machine building products include welding systems, inspection and test systems, automation systems and robotic end-effectors. Its manufacturing services include precision machining, surface grinding and planning, fabrication, inspection, finishing, CAM programming, design and engineering, project management, assembly, build-to-print and laser prototyping. Each project is assigned a project manager who stays with the work from concept through completion and all the work is completed in-house at one or more of Process Equipment's five plant locations. Process Equipment is headquartered in Tipp City, Ohio.
