Magnolia High School
Magnolia High School has computer science, English, home economics, mathematics, performing arts, and agriculture and business education departments. The school s curriculum includes science, social studies, Spanish, visual arts, and technology and physical education. It also offers classes in photography, computer graphics, music, band, ensemble, theater and playwriting. Magnolia High School supports several sports activities, such as basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, tennis, football, cross country, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, and track and field. The school s vocational courses include agricultural mechanics, accounting, computer applications and office management. It offers membership for various organizations and clubs, including the National Honor Society, Future Farmers of America, mu alpha theta, and bowling and service clubs. Located in New Martinsville, W.Va., Magnolia High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school is governed by the Wetzel County School District.
