The Madison County Sheriff's Office has openings in their Law Enforcement Explorer Program. The goal of the Explorer Program is to help youth to gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities and to promote the growth and development of adolescent youth in a positive manner.Exploring is Learning for Life's career education program for young men and women who are 14 through 20 years old. Exploring provides opportunities for learning, leadership, character development, and association with adults involved in the careers of interest to its youth members.Explorings purpose is to provide experiences to help youth mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. Exploring is based on a unique and dynamic relationship between youth and the organizations in their communities. Local businesses and organizations initiate an Explorer post by matching their professionals and program resources to the interests of the youth in the community.
