HistoryMy interest in DJ'ing began in 1997 back in the 6th grade when I attended my very first middle school dance. I approached the DJ booth to make a request, and instead of requesting a song, I simply stood there in wonder and watched as the DJ used the myriad of equipment before him. I was fascinated by how he was effortlessly able to make each track flow together like it was one song, how confident he sounded as he spoke over the microphone, and how he knew exactly what to say to get people dancing. However, the biggest thing that stood out the most to me; was his brilliant smile. He was smiling the entire time he was working. He was enjoying every minute of the dance, just like we were and you could tell that he had a passion for what he did.
