Kettering Fairmont High School provides academic programs with emphasis on the development of basic learning and thinking skills. The school serves more than 2,500 students annually in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes classes in English, math, music, art, social studies and physical education. Kettering Fairmont High School works with a team of over 170 teachers. It provides guidance counseling sessions. The school offers opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as cross-country, cheerleading, golf, soccer, tennis, wrestling, volleyball, and track and field. It is governed by the Kettering City School District, which additionally manages several elementary, middle and high schools. The district operates through finance, transportation, human resource services and community relations departments.
