He initially purchased around 75 tuxedos and started in the rental business.The business was incorporated in 1977 as Callander's Formal House, Inc and began doing business as Callander's Mr. Tux.Today, Callander's Mr. Tux carries over 5, 000 tuxedos in stock at their main office showroom and warehouise located at 977 Mt. Vernon Road facility, they also wholesale tuxedo rentals to men's clothing stores, bridal shops and other tuxedo stores in Ohio, West Virginia, Indiana, Western Pennsylvania and Lower Michagan.
