About UsIan Barron, DPM, is a podiatrist serving patients in Columbus and Dublin, Ohio. He is board-certified in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery. His clinical areas of interest include foot and ankle arthritis, foot and ankle trauma, bunion and hammertoe correction, arthroscopic ankle surgery, Achilles tendon disorders, and limb salvage.Dr. Barron is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and his medical degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Afterward, Dr. Barron completed a three-year surgical residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.During his residency he served as chief resident and was awarded the Podiatric Surgery Outstanding Resident Award. In 2017, he went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic to help perform complex reconstructive surgeries for children with clubfoot and other congenital deformities.In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Barron is actively involved in educating residents. He is affiliated with several hospitals, including Grant Medical Center, Doctors Hospital, Riverside Methodist Hospital, The Ohio State University Medical Center, and Polaris Surgery Center. He is the Chief of Podiatry at Doctors Hospital.Dr. Barron is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, and Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association.
