The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency that employs a staff of more than 25 full-time sworn officers, civilians and community volunteers. It protects residents lives, property and individual rights, as well as maintains peace and order. The Hardin County Sheriff's Office undertakes various criminal cases and works with other state, local and federal agencies to ensure public safety. The office organizes a variety of crime prevention events related to conflict resolution, drug and violence prevention, juvenile crime, and general, business, Halloween and school safety.
