Home of the William Hanby family from 1854-1870. Hanby was 15th Bishop of United Brethren Church, founder of Otterbein University, and conductor on Underground Railroad. His son, Benjamin, was teacher, minister, and composer of abolitionist songs, hymns, and Christmas favorite "Up on the Housetop." Contains antiques and memorabilia from Civil War era. Special events throughout the year.
