About Today's Bride Magazine & Shows In August of 1989, inspired by their own recent marriage, Jim and Denise Frericks began Jadlyn Wedding Consultants to help fill the need for knowledgeable wedding planners in the Akron/Canton area. In September of 1990, they had grown enough to incorporate, becoming Jadlyn Incorporated. Contact with local brides and bridal-related merchants led them to realize a greater need for a local informational resource for engaged couples. Thus, Today's Bride Magazine and Bridal Shows were born. Today's Bride revolutionalized the wedding market by combining a comprehensive wedding magazine/planner, high caliber bridal shows and the vast access of information on the Internet. Today's Bride Magazine is an annual publication with 2 editions for the following areas: Cleveland and Akron/Canton.
