The Franklin Township Town Hall is located on Gougler Avenue in downtown Kent. The office serves as a resource for township residents with questions about zoning issues or township services.
The hall, built in 1837, originally housed offices for the Franklin Silk Company before the company folded and the township trustees took over in 1840. Today, it serves as the offices for the Franklin Township clerk, administrator and zoning inspector.
The second floor, accessible via a spiral staircase, is home to meetings of the zoning board and trustees.
Gougler Avenue is a one-way street. Traffic flows from south to north.
