Givaudan Flavors understands that flavor creation is a science intimately bound with human psychologies and cultures. While some tastes may be more or less universal and may not change at all over time, others vary drastically from place to place. With more than 200 years of experience, Givaudan Flavors is recognized as the world leader in flavor creation. A division of Givaudan, the flavor operation is divided into four business units: the beverages unit includes carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices and alcoholic drinks; the dairy unit includes ice cream, yogurt and instant desserts; the savoury unit includes ready-made meals, soups, meats and snacks; and the sweet goods unit includes sugar confections and baked goods. Givauden Flavors maintains several creation centers in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Japan, China, the United Kingdom, Holland and Switzerland, including two in Cincinnati.
