This vibrant branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library system is home to a large selection of books—both the new and old-fashioned kind—music, movies, toys and plenty of resources for researchers, Web surfers and job seekers. Built in 1990, the Brecksville branch manages to look both modern and cozy, with lighting that adjusts to the natural light from the windows and lots of artwork and seating. Nonprofit groups can rent out the library's meeting rooms, and the branch hosts many events of its own. There are events for all ages, but some require registration. Details can be found on the library's website.
