COVA is a center of vocational alternatives. The center provides vocational rehabilitation services for people with mental illnesses and other disabilities that pose a barrier to employment. It serves more than 2,500 people and nearly 200 employers each year. The center offers a complete range of career development programs, including career development, benefits consultation, careers for the future and services for employers. Its career development program provides comprehensive services to enhance the skills, confidence and knowledge of people to embark upon a successful career search. COVA also offers various programs for employers that include qualified staffing, psychiatric disability management, linkage to tax incentives, improved employee retention, added diversity in the work place, partnership options and disability management seminar. COVA was founded in 1982 and is located in Columbus, Ohio.
