The Council on Rural Service Programs, also known as CORSP, is a nonprofit, human service organization that offers a range of education and support services for individuals and families. Founded in 1972, it serves the residents of Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Greene, Logan, Miami, Preble, Shelby and Van Wert counties in Ohio. The organization maintains a child development center that provides socialization and creative learning services for infants, toddlers and preschool children through its skilled staff. The Council on Rural Service Programs Services offers crisis intervention, case management, advocacy and non-therapeutic counseling services for youths. It administers a volunteer program that includes recruitment for senior citizens in various nonprofit organizations, after-school tutoring schools and health care facilities. The Council on Rural Service Programs maintains its central office in Piqua, Ohio.
