The Cleveland Heights-University Heights library system has four buildings, and this branch, founded in 1952, is the only one in University Heights. It has always been known for its after-school center, even before all libraries had the after-school program for teens called The Spot that they have now. The library offers system-wide classes and programs such as writing workshops for all ages, author read-alouds for children, and puppet and music activities for toddlers, and it also has special programs that vary by season, including film festivals.
