Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center is a nonprofit organization providing a variety of programs and services to people with special communication needs. Its services include screenings and evaluations for people of all ages, hearing aid programs, and listening device demonstration, evaluation, and dispensing services. Located in Cleveland, it focuses on enhancing public awareness on hearing and speech impairment. Founded in 1921, the organization has serves more than 30,000 children and adults every year. Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center has various departments, such as audiology, community services for the deaf and hard of hearing, and speech-language pathology departments. The organization provides facilities and clinical supervision for the graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology for Case Western Reserve University's Department of Communication Sciences. It has a staff of more than 50 interpreters, speech-language pathologists, audiologists, counselors, and administrative personnel.
