Established in 1935, Central Community House is a private, nonprofit settlement house, located in Columbus, Ohio. A United Way agency, Central Community House is a multiservice community center offering youth and family programs, and neighborhood support, and development initiatives. Central Community House operates a child care center that offers program activities to promote age appropriate growth and development for children of ages 6 weeks to 12-years. It also offers youth and family service programs, such as after school, summer challenge, teen, teen summer challenge, teen moms, parent advisory council, and family nights programs. It also provides neighborhood programs, such as opportunity knocks, Americorps, homebuyers workshop, health screenings, employment service, senior outreach, and emergency service programs.
