Established in 1961, Central Christian School enrolls students in grades kindergarten through 12. The school is owned and operated by the Ohio Conference of the Mennonite Church, is accredited by the state of Ohio, and is a member of the Mennonite Education Agency. Its high school students are involved in various vocal and instrumental programs. The school s music department sponsors chorale, concert choir, varsity singers, junior strings, string orchestra, wind ensemble, a jazz band, string quartets, and individual music lessons during the school day for both vocal and instrumental students. All students in third and fourth grades take violin lessons. Central Christian is a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association and offers a full sports program. Boys participate in soccer, golf, basketball, baseball and tennis. Girls have the options of volleyball, tennis, basketball and softball. Central Christian School is located in Kidron, Ohio.
