Camp SWONEKY is a ministry of The Salvation Army. It is licensed by the state of Ohio and is accredited by the American Camp Association. Located in Oregonian, Ohio, the camp is also a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association. It offers a variety of physical, social, educational and spiritual activities. Camp SWONEKY features a conference and retreat center, cabin lodges and dining rooms. Its cabin lodges have beds, decks, porches and private bathrooms. The camp s dining hall offers a seating capacity of more than 325 people and has a projector, CD player and microphones. Camp SWONEKY also features an amphitheater that can accommodate up to 350 people.
