Established in 1910, Bowling Green State University, offers more than 200 undergraduate majors and programs in over five undergraduate colleges. It provides instruction in science, business administration, human development, health and human services, musical arts and technology education. The university serves nearly 20,000 students from the United States and approximately 85 countries. Bowling Green State University features more than 15 residence halls that houses over 6,000 students. The university supports nearly 325 student organizations. It offers opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, such as baseball, softball, tennis, golf, and track and field. Bowling Green State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association. Its BGSU Firelands provides several certificate and more than 10 associate degree programs representing over 20 areas of study.
