From modest beginnings - as a partnership of two, hardworking Mennonite brothers, Menno and Ira Yoder - Yoder Brothers has grown to be one of the world leaders in flowering research and breeding. With more than 80 years since its founding, G. Ramsey Yoder, Menno's grandson, heads a company of nearly 1,200 employees. Established in 1920, Yoder Brothers is a breeder and propagater of a variety of chrysanthemums, including pot mums, garden mums, cut mums and fleurettes, perennials, asters, azaleas, dahlias, hibiscus, New Guinea impatiens, poinsettias and pot roses. The company provides services to florists, consumers and home gardeners. Yoder Brothers is headquartered in Florida and operates facilities in South Carolina, Pennsylvania and Canada.
