South Central Power Company is an electric cooperative established in 1936. The cooperative currently serves over 110,000 residential, commercial as well as industrial customers in Ohio, U.S. At present it maintains approximately 11,000 miles of energized power lines that traverse more than 24 counties in Ohio. In 1998, South Central Power Company became a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, thereby becoming a part of a nationwide alliance of independently owned and operated electric Cooperatives under a single brand identity.
