Sunbeam - A Shop for Children was started in 1890 by a group of women helping to support those in need. Around 1920, the children's boutique began to support the non-profit organization and Vocational Guidance Services. It has now been in the same location for more than 10 years under the direction of Janet Nelson. Sunbeam offers unique, high-end children's apparel, toys and accessories, with a substantial infant/toddler room that has nursery layouts. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and professional, with many tips on today's children's fashion. Sunbeam is located near other boutiques and retailers and is open 6 days a week. It continues to host many fundraisers benefiting Vocational Guidance Services.
