The Dakota Women s Correctional Rehab Center, located in New England, N.D., was established in 2003. Its administration building is made up of staff offices, treatment rooms, classrooms, a kitchen, dining room and visitation hall. The center offers health care services to inmates through the medical staff, allied health personnel and consulting physicians. The Dakota Women s Correctional Rehab Center contracts for physician, hospital, emergency, laboratory and x-ray services. In addition, it provides optometry and dental services. The center has an education department that works to provide the qualified inmates incarcerated at the facility an opportunity to develop personal knowledge and positive attitudes necessary for a successful transition into society s educational and employment communities. Its case management department ensures that inmates are met with on a monthly basis and work on necessary release and parole plans. The Dakota Women s Correctional Rehab Center is a part of the Southwest Multi-County Correction Center, as well as offers a variety of programming, including therapeutic groups and strives to implement programs that are specific to female needs
