North Dakota Protection & Advocacy Project asserts the human, civil and legal rights of people with disabilities. The project offers a variety of services, such as information and referral; assistance with self-advocacy efforts; education and training; advocacy representation; and legal and protective services. The project provides a wide range of products, such as newsletters, videos, publications, manuals, fact sheets, books and summaries of public comments. It also has various programs, including assistive technology advocacy; developmental disabilities advocacy; mental health advocacy; protection and advocacy for beneficiaries of social security; and protection and advocacy for individual rights programs. North Dakota Protection & Advocacy Project has an office located in Bismarck, N.D.
