North Dakota Winter Show, founded in 1937, is one of the longest running agriculture shows in the Valley City, N.D. It provides education for youth in the various segments of agribusiness, and promotes and expands agriculture through improved agriculture practices and techniques. The winter show has features one of the world s largest crop shows and livestock shows and sales, women and youth events, and a variety of agricultural commercial exhibitions. It is one of the premier livestock events in the region, and offers various purebred cattle shows, steer shows, and events for swine. The winter show event center provides more than 150,000-square-feet of space on rent for various events, including livestock show and sale, horse events, auction sales, concerts, sales seminars or group meetings.
