The Fargo Country Club provides its members, their families and their guests, a private and prestigious environment through premier golf facilities, outstanding dining and exceptional recreational and social activities. The club was founded in the spring of 1898. Starting out as a nine-hole golf course, FCC received corporate status by the state of North Dakota in 1916, which started plans for the construction of the first FCC clubhouse. Seven years later, the completion of an additional nine holes running along the Red River made the Fargo Country Club the first 18-hole golf course in the state of North Dakota. In the 1970s, the tennis courts and swimming pool were built, providing a well-rounded recreational facility for its members.
