Camp Willow Run is an interdenominational Christian camp located on Lake Gaston in northeastern North Carolina. The camp offers a unique experience with its railroad theme, featuring converted boxcars as dormitories and an authentic 1911 steam engine and caboose. With a three-fold purpose of winning youth to Christ, nurturing the faith of existing Christians, and promoting the idea that one can be a Christian and still have fun, Camp Willow Run provides a safe and action-filled environment for campers to grow spiritually and enjoy various activities.
Owned and operated by Youth Camps For Christ, Inc., Camp Willow Run offers summer programs for students in rising 7th grade through 12th grade, as well as Camp Willow Springs for rising 3rd grade through 6th grade students. The camp is committed to inclusivity, welcoming individuals of all races, colors, national origins, limited disabilities, and religious preferences. Through Bible study, devotions, music, and personal interactions, the camp's carefully selected staff aims to demonstrate and teach the Christian lifestyle. Camp Willow Run is dedicated to providing a memorable and faith-building experience for campers of all backgrounds.
