Established in 1968, Lumbee Regional Development Association provides a wide range of services for the Lumbee Indian communities. It services include assistance with housing, public information and employment and education. It provides child care services, such as day care and infant care program. Its day care program works to improve the educational and economic conditions of working mothers and full-day care services for children. It also has extensive experience in human, governmental, operations of grant-funded programs and Indian affairs. It additionally provides financial programs that assist disadvantaged Indian people. Lumbee Regional Development Association works in union with various governmental organizations to provide services and improve social and economic conditions in Lumbee communities. It also seeks public input and support for the programs, services and activities that it provides. It is located in Pembroke, N.C.
