After working as a professional stuntman in New York City during most of the 1980's, Tony Johnson returned to his hometown of Greensboro and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Financial Economics. He had always wanted to start his own business and after 10 years in the corporate world, he and his wife, Sherry, started a small cleaning business with their first church account. Over time, word-of-mouth spread of their commitment to service, highly motivated and skilled employees and open communication with the client. They incorporated the business and named it C-Matt after their two boys, Chase and Matthew. The business has continued to grow via word-of-mouth of satisfied customers telling others about C-Matt. We are proud to say that we have yet to lose a client due to poor performance or communication. C-Matt's clients include some of Greensboro's biggest companies as well as several clients in Burlington, High Point, and Winston-Salem. In addition to offering quality janitorial services for corporate offices, medical facilities, schools, industrial and places of worship, C-Matt offers commercial hard floor care, carpet cleaning and construction clean up. We have found that one of the most important factors for excellence in a janitorial service is supervision and motivation for our employees. Our employees are carefully selected and screened, then trained, supervised and paid well above the industry standard. We believe in treating our employees with respect and encouragement because that's the way any employee should be treated. They will help take care of the client as we take care of them. The second most important factor is communication with the customer. As a client, you will need to communicate your needs and desires for a cleaning service. It is very important for you, the customer, to know exactly what your janitorial company is contracting to do for you. It is also very important for us, the contractor, to know exactly what the customer needs.
