Glenn and Lula Bolick formed Bolick Pottery in 1972 after working for Lula's father, M.L.Owens of Original Owens Pottery. Their daughter Janet and husband Mike Calhoun worked with them until 1992 then they started Traditions Pottery. In 2007, Janet started Bolick and Traditions Pottery to combine the two business under one roof. She also carries Original Owens Pottery which was started by her great grandfather and is now owned by her uncle, Boyd Owens.

5th and 6th generation potters from the Owens family of Seagrove, NC. Bolick and Traditions Pottery continues the old shapes as well as new designs. Functional, decorative, and folk art pottery. All pottery is microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. The shop offers a great selection of inspirational and sentiment items in flat art, pillows, and hand towels. Seasonal items such as flower pots, and garden flags thru the summer, and jackolanterns for the fall. Our shop is sure to become a favorite of yours while visiting the village of Blowing Rock.
