The STEAM Museum and Learning Center is the brainchild of Regina Blount who saw the great opportunity that children on the Spectrum (ASD) had with including Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math as a part of their educational options. We have an exciting new multi-disciplinary curriculum that incorporates hands-on, project-based learning to prepare our students for success in the 21st century by encouraging creativity, critical thinking skills and problem solving strategies. Children on the spectrum are normally though of as difficult to reach in an educational setting. They are not afforded the same opportunities as typical children and this is where The STEAM Museum and Learning Center aims to break the mold and create an inclusive, stress-free and fun-filled environment for our kids to thrive.
