The leadership team invested the better part of that time buying, fixing, and selling houses; doing remodels for realtors and investors; and most importantly through those two activities had the opportunity to work through over 2,000 inspection reports. This experience led them to the belief that while home inspections are prudent, they also put transactions at risk. To further complicate matters, they must work within a due diligence timeline and wrangle in numerous different contractors to get quotes from and then hopefully come to an agreement on what the cost is and which party is going to absorb it.
