Rockwell Elementary School is a public school serving more than 700 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school offers a wide array of subjects, including math, English, science and social studies. Located in Rockwell, N.C., the school provides lunch facility to students as it has signed an agreement with the Department of Education to participate in the National School Lunch Program. It has a library that houses general reference material, magazines, dictionaries, biographies and atlases. Rockwell Elementary School s child care program provides a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment. Its extracurricular activities include arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor recreation and quiet time. The school is owned and operated by the Rowan-Salisbury School District.
