Polk County High School is an educational facility that provides a range of learning opportunities for more than 740 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes math, English, language arts, science and social studies. The school operates a student council and library and media center. Polk County High School also offers extracurricular activities in band and drama. It organizes volleyball, tennis and soccer tournaments and talent shows. In addition, the school provides membership opportunities in the Future Farmers of America. Polk County High School conducts field trips. Founded in 1992, it operates in North Carolina and is a part of Polk County Schools.
