Old Waynesborough Park offers both a self-guided historical village and a park with 150 acres and miles of hiking trails along the Neuse and Little Rivers. Our facilities are available for a wide variety of events including weddings, reunions, and outdoor gatherings. Spaces for rent include a Quaker Church built in 1878, a gazebo with electrical outlets for lighting and sound systems, and a modern structure with heating and air, kitchen, and front and back porch. Bikes and dogs are welcome on the trails and fishing is permitted along the rivers. The Visitors Center and village are open Monday thru Saturday 9AM-5PM and Sunday 1PM-5PM. The trails are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset.
