North Buncombe High School provides learning opportunities to more than 1,000 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, English, social studies, science and technology skills. North Buncombe High School s campus includes a library media center that maintains a collection of books, magazines and audiovisual materials. The school offers opportunities to participate in a variety of student organizations, including the Mountain Bike Club, Future Teachers of America, Human Rights Watch and Intramurals. It provides several sports activities, including basketball, swimming, wrestling and tennis.
