New Horizons Elementary School, located in in Wilmington NC, was founded in 1983 by a group of visionary parents and professional educators. Our school's program is based on a quarter century of experience and the most current research into highly effective schools. New Horizons incorporates these elements of high-performing schools into its day-to-day operations: Class and school size are small ; 16 students per class and a total school enrollment of about 100 children in grades K-5.
