Founded in 1906, Nazareth Children's Home offers a variety of care services to children and families. Its adoption and family foster care programs are designed to find adoptive and foster homes for legally free and at-risk children in North Carolina. The organization administers the Preparation for Adult Living (P.A.L.) program, which prepares teenagers to be self-sufficient. Nazareth Children s Home in collaboration with the Rowan and Salisbury School System provides fully accredited instructional, assessment and placement services in an on-campus setting. Its on-campus school program serves students in grades kindergarten through 12 and offers instruction in art, English, computers, foreign languages, mathematics, science, social studies and vocational education. The organization s acute care and emergency program includes shelter care, crisis intervention, case coordination, referral, spiritual care and related services. Nazareth Children's Home is licensed by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Resources and is located in Rockwell, N.C.
