HistoryAutoworks was started solely by Doug Powell in 1990. After encouragement from independent facilities owners that dealer level technology was needed in the aftermarket sector of auto repairing and servicing, Doug left the dealership world after servicing three OEM car lines. There were some 24 hour work days and plenty of growing pains but 27 years later we are proud to say we have served our community well.SpecialtiesWe're still clinging to the idea that people want quality instead of a cheap price. We still diagnose using industry rules, training and service literature. We make investments in proper tooling and technically minded people and empower our technicians to do more than install parts, realizing every automobile that we service belongs to someone special.
